Sure thing! Indeed, some customers have been acquainted with us since the foundation day of the Agency. And it happened in 1992 ... and imagine, we continue to work with some customers since then. It’s really a reason to be proud!
If asking the question “When should the proposal be sent?” the customer’s response is “yesterday” in 80 cases out of a hundred. We have already got used to this and created, during many years of work, a huge base containing people from astronauts to fakirs, sites from a street rink to the Baykonur launch area, suppliers of absolutely every type of services one can think of. We know where to take on hire crocodiles and scorpions, to quickly find real Chukchi people with their raw-hide tents and deer. We can quickly send a customer to Svalbard or the Turukhansk territory... the limit of our operational efficiency depends on the budget and operational efficiency of the customer himself :)
Sometimes it is necessary to perform a dull hand work. For example, putting stickers on souvenirs. Indeed, none of the suppliers undertakes to do it "by tomorrow morning" And the customer wants this work to be done urgently and with high quality. Then in this case several managers, regardless of their position, qualifications and status, put stickers selflessly and with great care till the morning. This is resembles an episode of the E. Ryazanov film “Garage”. Do you remember a candidate of science played by Leonid Markov who was sent to sort potatoes and put his business card in each package of potatoes? He got used to do everything carefully and at a high quality level, even if it's just sorting of potatoes. We do the same way.
We are persistent in reaching goals, stubborn and consistent. I was working in the Tax Police, than I quit the job and was thinking what to do next… My friends suggested me a job of coordinator at the action of “Java Gold” by BAT company… I did not have other things to do, so I agreed… The action was conducted from May to December… During this period I mastered lots of professions:

- storekeeper
- mail sorter
- packager (package of wrappers and parcels)
- postman
- hot-line operator
- database operator (entering data into database from received letters)
In addition to the above, I searched, trained and educated personnel (sorters, packagers, hot-line operators, database operators)… In total about 30 people were involved in the action… So I liked it… And I still like the fact that each new project gives me an opportunity to know something new…

“Why am I in marketing?!” – for me personally it’s not a trivial question, I can never answer it right at once. As well as I can hardly explain to my friends in ten words - what I am really busy with at my work. The point that makes no doubts is that my work is rather serious and very responsible, but what is the most important – not boring at all! Every single day brings new experience, new acquaintances, new challenges and new solutions, however our working scheme always remains the same – we are trying to find a reasonable balance between creative and real marketing needs of our clients. It is not always easy, still it is the most effective, and practically the only possible way to create interesting and effective promotion. You can disagree, but in particular this work does not require any professional education and theoretical base. Personal experience, talent, ability to express your ideas, to persuade, to sell and even luck and smiles – is all that really counts! My job – is alive interaction with real people, brands and ideas. During the second year of my studies I started to work for a small BTL Agency. Merchandising, promotions, marketing researches – had been studied both in theory and in practice at the same time. I got my first job when I was at school. And on the first course of the university I was invited to work at the trade show by a friend. The word “promoter” did not even exist then, it appeared later… I remember my first real experience in this field very well: this was the action of “Nevskoe” beer. We were working for 10-12 hours a day, and came back home very tired.
Later I found out about JTI company and sent my CV to them. There was a very strong competition, but the company selected me. I was very proud of it, and I am still proud of the fact that I work with this client.
I love my job, love the agency team and clients that I work with. Sometimes when I come back home at midnight I think “Why do I need this? Life is going by, and I don’t even have time to change the date on the calendar!” And in the morning I wake up and feel happy that my life is as is: I have beloved family and beloved job. When I graduated from the technical university, I thought that I would never communicate with people, or this communication would be minimal. I will be surrounded by computers, hardware and diagrams. I will think, think and think.
My dreams and ideas broke down as soon as I started my job. Apparently, everything is done faster, better and more interesting, if it’s done for someone and together with someone. High speed and high quality is my slogan. Every night I ask myself did I do anything that I could during this day? If the response is positive it brings satisfaction.
I have to keep myself in tone all the time, in order not to forget a single detail. So in the end my whole job is working with people, working with budget and playing with time. I think it is very interesting! And this lasts for 8 years already…new tasks, new technologies…new clients, new partners, new relations…

I work in communications almost for all my life. I have started as a journalist in News, Press Agency, and continued in my own Company which was created in 1992.
Our first agency, PR Passat, was one of the pioneers in the field of marketing communications. Now, after twenty years being in this business, I can say that I've always loved it, there are always different objectives, different challenges and there is no routine.
Why do we use this words Point and Passat for the name? For me as a yachtsman trade winds (PASSAT in Russian) are the most favorable winds in the ocean yacht race. The word Point appeared in the company name because one of the first offices of our partner and then the shareholder was in the building of State Historical Museum situated on Red Square, 1.
In 2012, the company will celebrate its 20th anniversary and I decided to get back at the helm, to help the company enter the next year with new sails and favorable wind. I am sure that the current team can cope with any problems.
